As for suburban living, the large majority of Sheffield’s popular suburbs are situated to the South and West of the City. In terms of international travel, the best option would be Manchester Aiport which is just over one hour away by train. If your flight is within Europe, then Leeds Bradford and East Midlands airport will also be an option for you.

Sheffield is a welcoming city and supportive of those new to the area. Built on 7 hills the surrounding countryside is stunning and there are many networking groups such as Meet Up to meet like minded people. If you enjoy shopping on your weekends then the nearby Meadowhall offers everything under one roof and is only a short commute from the City Centre. One things the locals like is to call you ‘love’ which in Sheffield translates into friend.
