About The Pitmaster
Eric Robinson, Colonel (Retired) U.S. Army
Founder & Pitmaster Of The Colonel’s Kitchen
Welcome to The Colonel’s Kitchen, where backyard grilling meets Southern hospitality and military precision! I’m Colonel (Retired) Eric Robinson, and after 30 years of leading soldiers around the globe, I’ve traded in my boots for tongs and a smoker—bringing the same passion, discipline, and attention to detail from the battlefield to the grill.
Rooted in my South Carolina farm upbringing and inspired by generations of family cooks, my love for bold, Southern flavors runs deep. From those early days to grilling through college, my fire for cooking only grew stronger. Today, I bring that same heart and soul to every event—serving up smoked meats and vegetables crafted with locally sourced ingredients and Southern flair.
But The Colonel’s Kitchen isn’t just about food—it’s about experience. I specialize in intimate gatherings where every dish is tailored to your taste and every moment feels personal.
Whether it’s a backyard celebration, a private dinner, or a special event, my goal is simple: “To create unforgettable flavors, one plate at a time. Let’s fire up something incredible.”
